In the internet web site and/or any of its pages, RAGASA uses cookies, web beacons and other technologies through which it can monitor your behavior as an internet user. This, in order to give you a better service and user experience while you navigate the site. For purposes of this section, the site and/or pages in it included use data interface applications and/or mobile applications.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are text files with small pieces of data that RAGASA and our agents place in your computer browser to store your preferences and the data that a web site requires the browser to store in the user’s computer or mobile device. Due to such cookies, the web site can over time “remember” the user’s activity or preferences.

What information do we collect?

The data regarding the use of our online services by the “User” includes personal information about the “User” as well as with respect to the devices he/she uses to access our online services, as described below:

  • Service Data. Information regarding interactions with online services, such as web pages or other content browsed, as well as other actions performed by the “User” while utilizing Online Services,

Information on the device of the “User”, including the device’s ID, IP address, hardware model, operating system and version, name of the device, data on the use of the mobile app and aggregate information, such as “click stream”, which represents entry and exit points (including domains and URL references), statistics on traffic, web page visits and views, all of which are collected automatically.

  • Geolocation data. Provides the device’s location based on voluntary consent.

All data and information will be handled on the basis of the principles of legality, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility as applicable. Personal information will be kept confidential through the putting in place and management of effective administrative, technical and physical security measures, to avoid its sale, damage, loss, alteration, destruction, use, access or unlawful disclosure.

Transfer of Information

The owner of the personal data authorizes RAGASA to transfer the data provided to third parties that require it as part of the commercial relation with RAGASA to comply fully with business objectives and, in particular, to its marketing and advertising supplier “The Brand Industry México, S.A. de C.V.” The owner of the personal data understands and accepts that at no time will financial and other sensitive information be transmitted. In case of disagreeing with the aforementioned sharing of information, the owner must email to:, in a period no longer than 5 (five) business days starting with the publication of the present notice. Failure to do so during said period means that the “User” authorizes RAGASA to transmit the information.

Likewise, the User at all times has the right to request access to or the deletion of personal data collected through the use of Cookies.

Why do we use cookies?

Cookies are used to understand how users interact with the content and improve their experience while visiting a web site. They are also used to locate their geographic location, so that as to show the sites of nearby convenience stores. Cookies also permit showing the user selected content, such as videos in our social networks. In a related matter, we can use what we learn about the behavior of users in web sites to offer personalized advertising in the web sites of third parties, so as to publicize our products and services.

What type of cookies do we use?

First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

In our web site we use our own cookies, as well as those of third parties. The former are cookies sent from the domain, and used mainly to identify location preferences or offer the site’s basic functions.

Third-party cookies belong and are managed by other companies (for example, service suppliers). These cookies may be necessary to permit access to electronically-generated formularies (for example, job applications) or to show publicity outside the RAGASA web site.

Permanent Cookies

These are used to remember user preferences in the web site and remain in the computer of mobile device even after the browser has been closed or the computer re-started. They are used to analyze the behavior of the user in order to obtain visit patterns and improve the functioning of the web site. These cookies also allow us to present the user with personalized advertising and to measure the effectiveness of functions and advertisements within our site.

How are cookies used for advertising purposes?

Cookies and other technologies are used to place advertisements, such as web beacons, pixels and network and anonymous labels. These permit showing advertisements to users in a more effective manner. They also permit obtaining aggregated audit data, result assessments and advertising reports. Pixels allow understanding and improving the presentation of advertising to the user and to know which specific advertisements the user has seen. Although we do not use cookies to create web profiles of the behavior of users when they visit third-party sites, we do use third-party aggregate data to show personalized publicity in line with the user’s interests. We do not share with advertisers any personal data. The user can deactivate advertisements from outside the site as well as advertisements with third party information by adjusting the cookie configuration. If you deactivate advertising, it will not disappear from the pages you visit, but the advertisements you encounter will not be personalized according to your interests. That is to say, those specific cookies will not associate the advertisements you see with your own interests.

How are third-party cookies used?

To operate some of the functions in our site, we use external suppliers, for example when the user visits a page that has links to Facebook of Whatsapp. Those links (and any other supplier content) may include third-party cookies. Thus, we call on users to consult privacy policies on those web sites to understand how they use cookies.

How are cookies rejected and deleted?

When visiting the RAGASA web site, the user can choose to reject or block all cookies or specific groups of these, by clicking on the cookie preferences found in our web sites.
